"Bring Summer to Life: Marketing & Beyond"

Register Today!

The Northeast Region annual meeting will offer us the chance to draw on our two greatest resources: the successes of our peers and our own know-how about the workings of building, promoting and growing summer (and winter) programs of all shapes and sizes.  For that reason, this year we have packed into our two days together both the change to hear and work with one of the clearest and most charismatic voices on summer we have and also to share and draw on each other’s experiences, successes and challenges in our round-table sessions.

Keynote Speaker and Program Agenda

Steven Lee, has built a strong reputation (and many followers) in the summer world for his innovative and successful marketing strategies.  Steven, the Assistant Director/Summer Programs Coordinator at the University of Oklahoma is the current Vice President for the NAASS Southern region and also serves as the Chair of the Information & Communication Committee. He has given popular presentations at NAASS national meetings, including a famous standing-room-only presentation to a full auditorium at the NAASS 2014 annual conference in Chattanooga.  The following year he led a highly popular pre-conference on building and employing successful marketing strategies.

Our round-table conversations give us the chance to work as a group to find answers to questions we all bring to the table.  Moderated by our Regional Vice President, these conversations are chance to draw off the collective wisdom of our peers to find solutions for the many challenges (both big and small) we face in our work across many areas, including pre-college program building, program building, modes of instruction, new ideas for innovation, and more.  These conversations are both rigorous and rewarding.  These conversations offer the rare luxury of sharing both the up- and low-swings of our daily work with a group of people who know exactly where you’re coming from!
