Cheryl A. Fabrizi recently joined The Graduate School at Binghamton University, State University of New York (SUNY), as the Assistant Dean for Admissions & Recruitment. She is presently in the midst of developing a comprehensive, strategic marketing and recruitment plan to launch this fall. Previously, she was the Director of Enrollment Management Marketing at Binghamton University, where she spearheaded the marketing and communications for the recruitment, enrollment and retention of undergraduate students at Binghamton University. The strategies and tactics deployed for the Enrollment Management Division focused upon brand awareness and integrated marketing communications (print, e-mail, web, social media, etc.) for undergraduate admissions, financial aid, campus visits, commencement, student records and various University special programs and projects. Her previous professional experience includes corporate branding, marketing and public relations for global companies QVC, Caesars and Gentex Corporation. In October 2010, she provided a social media presentation at The College Board’s annual forum in Washington, D.C. Year-round in the Binghamton community, she serves as an adjunct instructor for Continuing Education courses and Entrepreneurial Assistance Programs at Broome Community College, SUNY, where she shares her hands-on experience and assists entrepreneurs and small business owners with business and marketing action plans.
