Updated: Tuesday, August 16, 2016

Dear NAASS Colleagues:

Some of you may know that EducationUSA, through the Bureau of Cultural Affairs and Education, at the U.S. Department of State, developed a program called the EducationUSA Academy.  The program runs in partnership with various university campuses across the U.S. to host pre-college students who are interested in pursuing undergraduate studies in the U.S. over 3-4 weeks. The time period is either summer or winter, so perfect fit!

Each university commits to providing intensive English, college prep, cultural and social activities, lodging/dining, campus tours of  neighboring institutions, etc. There are several successful Academies now in place-  (Boulder has one of them- ) as well as some that are up-and-coming.

Jennifer Brown, Program Officer in Washington asked that I share the RFP with you. Please follow the link below for more information.

Interested in hosting EducationUSA Academy on your campus? World Learning invites applications from U.S. colleges and universities for summer 2017. Click here to read about program and application requirements and to access the RFP.
